Happy Valentine!

Welcome friends to a beautiful romantic Wednesday where we are just a week before celebrating the week of love.Yes you are right we are nearing the Valentine week and this is the time we celebrate our loved ones. Today's card is one of the way we can cherish our special friendship and this card is very special to me as first time I ever created such a front panel.

Instructions

The final card measures 6.5” x 4” and it’s lacy and graceful for the perfect valentine. Adorned with handmade flowers and drops of glitter let’s celebrate this valentine day with poise and grace. To create this card cut a white card stock to measure the final card base at 6.5” x 4”. Strip off the front panel keeping 1” from the top. Take another white card stock that measures 6.5” x 3” and die cut the filigree square three times in a row keeping a thin separation in between and also keeping a 1/8” border on both side. Cut another strip of white card stock that measures 6” x1” for the bottom. Align the filigree piece to the top and then adhere the solid bottom piece at the bottom keeping in mind to keep the entire front panel to 4.5”. Cut strips of pattern paper to adhere to the top and bottom white panel. This will finish the card front panel. For the lace heart, die cut a eyelet heart shape from a pattern paper. Choose a size smaller and die cut another piece from butter paper. Stamp the sentiment Happy Valentine using embossing ink and then heat set with white embossing power. Adhere both the heart piece with a foam adhesive. Adhere the heart sentiment at one end of the card front panel. For the flowers die cut several piece of large and small petunia from white card stock using black archival ink. Using sunflower and pink archival ink shade all the flower petals. Later to shape the flowers slightly wet all the flower petals and the leaves and then shape it. Later heat dry it. To finish the flowers sprinkle some crystal clear. For the filler leaves here I have used a retired leaves from the sunrise collection. Stamp it with black archival ink and then color it using zig brushes. Once all colored and dried assemble the leaves, flowers and frills around the heart one the lace center border of the card front card. The flower centers are made using wire pollens.
